Email Template Updates

The purpose: The existing template had font sizes that didn't meet accessibility standards and was not mobile-friendly. There were also opportunities to include dynamic elements based on location, device, cart, etc.

The strategy: Create a new template that was both on-design and mobile friendly that would be personalized to each recipient.

  • Photo 1: The full template
  • Photo 2: Top banner that promoted the SMS program (if subscribed it reminded them of the last category viewed)
  • Photo 3: If there were items in their cart, the cart number would display (mimicking the website design)
  • Photo 4: Should the recipient have an active affiliate code, a banner would display showing them of their code and rewards program
  • Photo 5: Rendered by device, the image and URL would differ between Google Play and Apple's App Store
  • Photo 6: If they were near a retail store location, it would display here (first by profile, then by IP address)
  • Photo 7: The old template

The results: These updates resulted in $60K incremental last click revenue for 2022.
